Authorities Investigate Shooting That Injured One Near McLoud

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting north of McLoud. It happened early Monday morning near the intersection of Highways 102 and 62. 

A spokesperson at the Sheriff's Office said the incident involves two men. The victim was hit in a foot and a hand.   He was taken to a metro hospital and is expected to survive his injuries. 

The alleged gunman in this case has been taken into custody and is now at the Lincoln County jail. 

Police have not identified the suspect and the victim at this time. The shooting is still under investigation.
