MAYES COUNTY, Oklahoma -

The Grand River Dam Authority Police Department is searching for a missing female in the waters of Lake Hudson Saturday night.

Communications Director Justin Alberty said they received a 911 call about a man yelling for help near Snowdale State Park on Lake Hudson. GRDA police and the Salina Fire Department responded at about 7:30 p.m.

"When they arrived on the scene they were informed of a missing female, last seen in the water, and began recovery efforts," Alberty said.

They are not releasing the name or age of the missing female.

According to the GRDA police, the search will continue through the night, as long as weather conditions allow.
