Oklahoma Players Selected On Day Three Of NFL Draft

Four Oklahoma Sooners were selected on Day Three of the NFL Draft while several more signed free agent contracts.

It took some time, but several Oklahoma Sooners finally made it off the board in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Four former Sooners were taken on the third day of the draft while several more signed free agent contracts with teams.

Jalen Saunders was the first off the board, going to the New York Jets in the fourth round with the 104th pick. Aaron Colvin followed later in the round, going to Jacksonville at pick No. 114. Corey Nelson and Trey Millard were drafted in the seventh round, Nelson going to Denver at 242 and Millard to San Francisco at 245.

Oklahoma State and Tulsa didn't have anyone drafted outside of OSU's Justin Gilbert being drafted with the No. 8 overall pick.

While only four OU players went drafted, several more players signed free agent contracts after the draft:

Gabe Ikard- Tennessee

Brennan Clay- Denver

Jaz Reynolds- Tennessee

Roy Finch- New England

Bronson Irwin- Seattle

Lacoltan Bester- Houston

Damien Williams- Miami

 

Oklahoma State

Josh Stewart- Tennessee

Daytawoin Lowe- Philadelphia

Parker Graham- Baltimore

Blake Jackson- Cleveland

Jeremy Smith- Tampa Bay

Calvin Barnett- Cleveland

 

Tulsa

Trey Watts- St. Louis

Stetson Burnett- Kansas City
