One Seriously Injured In Southeast OKC House Fire

OKLAHOMA CITY -

One person was seriously injured in a house fire Wednesday morning in southeast Oklahoma City.

According to the fire department, crews responded to the fire at a house in the 4700 block of Kathy Drive.

Firefighters on the scene reported seeing heavy smoke and flames coming out of the house. They were able to put out the fire quickly.

Fire officials say one resident was injured in the fire. That person has been transported to the hospital in serious condition.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
