Thunder 120, Memphis 109: By The Numbers

Here are some key numbers from the Thunder's 120-109 Game 7 victory against Memphis on Saturday:

5 – Combined minutes the Grizzlies Game 7 starting five had played together in the series entering Saturday's contest. That lineup was minus-17 in those five minutes. The Thunder raced out to a 15-9 advantage before the Grizz mixed things up and charged back.

57 – Speaking of charging back, Memphis shot a torrid 57 percent from the floor in the first quarter to erase an early OKC lead for a 36-27 advantage. The Grizzlies led by as much as 11 on two occasions in the period.

21 – After getting outscored by nine in the first quarter, the Thunder bounced back in a big way, outscoring Memphis by 12 in the second period for a 21-point swing to take a 61-58 lead into the break.

31 – Points for the Grizzlies off of a whopping 20 Oklahoma City turnovers. Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant combined for 12 of OKC's miscues.

60 – Westbrook and Durant might have combined for a dozen turnovers, but that's the end of the negatives from the dynamic duo. The pair combined for 60 points on 22-of-34 shooting and combined to go 7-for-7 from the 3-point line.

2 – Westbrook joined Rajon Rondo as only the second player in NBA history with to record two Game 7 triple-doubles. Westbrook finished with 27 points, 16 assists and 10 rebounds.

100 – As previously mentioned, KD didn't miss a 3, going a scorching 5-of-5 from behind the arc. This was a far cry from the 12-of-48 clip (4-of-29 in the past four games) he was shooting from deep in the series coming into Saturday's contest.

60.9 – It wasn't just KD and Russ connecting on their shots on Saturday. OKC shot 60.9 percent from the floor, including 6-for-8 from Serge Ibaka, 2-for-2 from Kendrick Perkins, 3-for-3 from Steven Adams and 5-for-6 from Reggie Jackson to go with the standout efforts from Westbrook and Durant.

0 – Minutes for Thabo Sefolosha for a second-consecutive game.

23 – Word began circulating during the game that Kevin Durant will be winning his first MVP award this coming week. It's well deserved considering Durant became the first player to average 32 points, seven rebounds and five assists per game in a season since No. 23 himself, Michael Jordan, in 1988-89.
