OKC Man Arrested For Injuring 2-Month-Old Baby

An Oklahoma City man was arrested after being accused of injuring his two-month-old baby.

On Thursday, a woman reported to police that her husband, 23-year-old Antuan Xavier Rabon, had been beating their two month-old child.

The woman said she went to a grocery store at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday and left the baby in the care of Rabon. When she returned, she noticed that the baby's face was swollen and his eyes were puffy. She said he had bruising on both of his cheeks.

The mother said the child appeared to be struggling to breathe. He was transported to the Children's Hospital to be treated for his injuries.

Rabon reportedly ran away from their home after the mother called 911. He was arrested a short time later and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on one count of child abuse.
