Norman police released the identity of a man whose body was found buried in a backyard on Tuesday.

According to police, the body of 69-year-old Virgil Alexander was found buried in the backyard of a home near Robinson and Westminister.

Police say Alexander's body was wrapped in plastic and shoved in a tote. Right now, they're calling the death "suspicious."

Investigators are not ready to call it a murder investigation until after the medical examiner's report is released.
