Two small earthquakes were recorded in Oklahoma, Wednesday afternoon.
The first quake was measured at a 3.0 on the Richter scale. It struck just before 3 p.m., 14 miles south southeast of Medford, or about 78 miles north of the OKC metro, at a depth of three miles.
A second earthquake, this one a 3.2., was recorded shortly after the first. The second temblor was centered three miles south southeast of Stillwater.
No damage or injuries have been reported with either earthquake.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
