TULSA, Oklahoma -

A 15-year-old girl is waking up in the hospital after being shot overnight during an apparent drive-by. The shooting took place off 2nd and Memorial. Officers say they are searching for the suspect.

The girl was standing near a truck talking to a man at about 11 p.m. when a Nissan drove by. The car turned around and shot at both the girl and the man she was standing by.

The teen was hit in the leg and taken to a local hospital. She is expected to be OK.

The man was not injured and told police he doesn't know why anyone would shoot at them. The driver is still on the loose.

If you have any information about the incident, call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
