Suspect Flees After Police Chase In OKC Metro

A suspect ran away from the scene after leading police officers on a high-speed chase early Monday morning in the Oklahoma City metro area.

According to police, the pursuit started at about 1 a.m. in Midwest City. It ended near N.E. 12th and Standish Avenue in Oklahoma City, where the driver ditched the car and ran.

Police say the suspect is still at large at this time. It is unclear why the chase began in the first place.
