The Silver Alert for a Chickasha man has been canceled and authorities say he has safely returned home.

Officials issued the silver alert for 89-year-old Chester Heavin on Saturday afternoon. Authorities said Heavin was last seen around 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the McDonald's, located at 4th and Grand.

Employees at McDonald's told police Heavin was "very disoriented."

Police said Heavin has a history of dementia and is under proven medical or physical disability and is in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death.

Again, the Silver Alert is no longer in affect. Heavin has returned home safe.
