Suspect In Custody After Attacking Woman In Downtown OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY -

A woman claims she was attacked after leaving a bar in downtown Oklahoma City early Saturday morning.

According to police, around 2 a.m. Saturday, a woman was leaving a bar and was confronted by 35-year-old Juan Jose Beltran near E. Sheridan and Oklahoma Avenues.

The woman told police she was attacked and called for help. Passersby confronted Beltran, and he fled from the scene.

Police said they located Beltran at N.E. 4th and Oklahoma Ave., and he was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on complaints of assault and battery and attempted rape. The bails are set at $25,500 each.
