A couple is facing child neglect charges after deputies found them drunk and an unsupervised infant in their home, authorities say.

Wagoner County deputies responded to a domestic abuse disturbance in the 32200 East 689 Loop/ Snug Harbor area on Friday. When deputies arrived, they said they found a baby whose father, Kirby Levi Reynolds, 36, was intoxicated and unaware the child was even in the residence.

The mother, Trudy Nykole Traut, 29, was found intoxicated at another residence in the area, deputies said.

Reynolds was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant and on an open charge of child neglect.

Traut was transported to Wagoner Hospital where, due to her injuries, was admitted to the hospital. A warrant is being sought for her arrest for child neglect.

The baby was placed in custody of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services.
