A couple was arrested in Oklahoma City, after a K-9 deputy with the Oklahoma County Sheriff's office found more than one pound of meth in their car.

According to the Sheriff's office, at about 4:40 p.m. on Tuesday, a deputy stopped the driver of a car for not using a turn signal at N.W. 63rd and N. May.

The driver and his passenger, 51-year-old Eugene Robert Snyder and 32-year-old Kira Leigh Snyder, consented to a search of the vehicle. K-9 Axo walked around the car and alerted the deputy that there were drugs inside.

The deputy then searched the car and found one and a half pounds of meth inside. The Snyders were arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on complaints of trafficking illegal drugs, and possession of drug proceeds.
