OKLAHOMA CITY -

The medical examiner determines a southwest OKC woman died of multiple stab wounds.

Oklahoma City Police began investigating the death of 31–year–old Holly Van Auken on April 7. Officers said a man found her dead inside her home near S.W. 60th and May.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy and ruled the death a homicide by multiple sharp force trauma.

With no suspects or arrest in the case, nearly a week after the discovery of Van Auken's body, neighbors in the area are concerned about their safety.

"All of us in the neighborhood are just kind of anxious and been talking are they going to find out who it is. We just want to know," said Auri Pachecho, a neighbor to the scene of the crime.

Investigators said they did not find any signs of a break-in. Police reports show Van Aucken's home was burglarized a month before the killing.

In that case, Van Aucken came home on March 10 to find her front door kicked in and a camera, tablet, jewelry and debit card missing.

"Is it someone just going through the neighborhood and just found a house that was unlocked and walked in or noticed it was a woman by herself at home," Pachecho said both cases are unnerving but this latest incident has stolen her sense of security. "Being a woman by myself at home a lot it makes you really worried."

Police are looking for the killer and reviewing footage from surveillance cameras in the area.
