Two women are lucky to be alive after both say they narrowly missed being shot in the head in their Harrah homes Tuesday. Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputies were still hunting for two drive-by shooting suspects as of late Wednesday.

"It would have went through the back of my head," victim Tina Nelson told News 9.

Nelson was watching Channel 9 when a bullet flew through her living room Tuesday evening. She says she heard a car speed away, not knowing that just a mile down the road another woman was dealing with the same terror.

"The dispatch lady, she said we just got another call that another house got hit," said a second victim who did not want to be identified. "You need to stay inside. Stay away from the windows."

Surveillance video from a nearby convenience store shows two male suspects and a dark-colored late-model Ford Mustang. People at the store near S.E. 15th and Peebly Rd. heard shots. That had investigators canvassing the area.

"We were able to actually find 12 spent casings and two live rounds just down the street from the convenience store," said Mark Myers with the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office.

As of late Wednesday, detectives were still trying to get a tag number from surveillance video to help pinpoint the suspects. The shootings have left one of the victims too afraid to go on camera --but not Nelson. She took a News 9 interview opportunity to talk to the shooter or shooters if they saw the 5 p.m. broadcast.

"You're going to kill somebody the next time," Nelson said. "You may not always be that lucky. It's a scary thing."

The incidents happened in a rural area of Harrah where residents say gunshots are not rare, but drive-by shootings are rare.
