Oklahoma Co. Deputies Arrest 22 During DUI Crackdown

OKLAHOMA COUNTY, Oklahoma -

Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputies made 22 arrests during a special DUI enforcement over the weekend.

According to the Sheriff's office, the special enforcement began at about 10 p.m. Saturday and ended at 3 a.m. Sunday.

During that time, there were DUI patrols throughout Oklahoma County. A checkpoint was also held in the 7000 block of S. Shields in Oklahoma City.

Deputies made 22 arrests. Twenty people were arrested for DUI while two others were arrested for possession of drugs (cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies also wrote 64 tickets for minor offenses and gave 30 warnings.
