A man was stabbed during an attempted robbery outside a southwest Oklahoma City convenience store. Police say they are looking for two suspects in connection to the case.
According to police, at about 11:50 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, officers responded to the incident at the Valero station at 3609 S. Penn.
The victim told police he was walking into the store when a tan or silver Chevy Malibu with two men inside pulled into the parking lot. One man in the car walked into the store while the other one waited outside.
After the victim made his purchase and walked out of the store, police say the suspect waiting outside approached him and demanded money. When the victim told him he didn't have money, the suspect reportedly stabbed him in the left arm.
Both suspects fled the scene in their vehicle following the incident. The victim was transported to the OU Medical Center in stable condition.
On Thursday, April 10, police released a surveillance photo of one suspect. If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at (405)-235-7300. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
