A familiar face is running for the Oklahoma House of Representatives.

Danni Legg, who lost her son in the Moore tornado, is running for the District 53 seat.

She says she enjoys teaching and working for Moore Public Schools but has done what she can on the local level.

Now, she wants to do the same at the state level, beginning with changing building codes to strengthen them against storms.

Legg is part of Take Shelter Oklahoma.
