McCLAIN COUNTY, Oklahoma -

Authorities in McClain County are looking for several suspects who attempted to break into someone's car, but fled after the victim chased them across Blanchard and Newcastle.

The victim's wife told Blanchard police that at about 2 a.m. Wednesday, the suspects attempted to burglarize their vehicle in Blanchard. Police say the victim then chased the suspects from Blanchard to Newcastle, where the suspects' car wrecked out.

According to police, after the crash, the suspects and the victim got into a physical altercation and the suspects took off in the victim's car.

During the chase, the victim told police that he saw the suspects throwing out bags in the area of Highway 76 and Rockwell. Officers searched that area and found a bag containing gun ammo.

The suspects are considered to be armed and dangerous.  Police have not released any descriptions of the suspects.
