An Oklahoma City family is grieving the loss of an 18-year-old woman who was shot and killed over the weekend. Police said Latisha Shaw was pregnant, so the case is now a double homicide.

Shaw's family is pleading for witnesses to come forward to help catch the gunman. The family told News 9 the silence of the witnesses is overwhelming.

"I don't know if she was by herself," said Kamilia Delacruz, the victim's sister. "I do know there were people around, but nobody seems to want to talk, nobody seems to want to say anything."

Shamari Reid and Delacruz said their 18-year-old sister, who they called ‘Tisha,' was outgoing, loving and just wanted to live.

That life was cut short Sunday night.

"She didn't get a chance to live, she didn't get to see anything," said Reid. "I mean she was 18."

Oklahoma City police said Shaw and her friends got into a fight near N.E. 28th Street and MLK. Shaw was later walking down MLK when she was shot around 9 p.m. and a passerby called 911.

Police said they found Shaw lying in a parking lot and she died at the hospital.

"I don't think the reality has really set in," explained Delacruz. "I feel like any moment now my sister is going to call me, or she's going to come walking through the door."

The medical examiner confirmed Shaw was pregnant. Shaw's family said she about four months along with her second child.

The family is heartbroken and wanting answers but said witnesses are not talking, and that is unacceptable.

"Friends who are supposed to be her friends who were there, if you know something, please come forward," pleaded Delacruz. "If you're scared, do it anonymously. Just please help bring justice for my sister."
