Spring time is finally here and that means it's almost time for the annual Medieval Fair of Norman.

We hope you will make plans to join us in Norman on Friday, April 4th from 10:00am-7:00pm for this once-a-year event that goes back to medieval times.

This year's fair runs from Friday, April 4 through Sunday, April 6th from 10:00am-7:00pm and admission is free.

Bring the whole family out for a day of entertainment, food and fun. Enjoy the more than 200 arts and crafts booths, seven stages with continuous performances, wandering minstrels, dancing, juggling, knights on horseback, and food fit for royalty!

The Norman Medieval Fair was the first of its kind in Oklahoma. Held annually since 1977, the fair began as a small one-day event hosted by the University of Oklahoma's English Department. Now it has grown to a three- day event held at Reaves Park that is attended by thousands of visitors from all over the state. Today this fair is still one of the few free Medieval Fairs in the nation.

Be sure to visit the News 9 Road Trip tent presented by Oklahoma City Community College to meet some of your favorite News 9 anchors and win great prizes by spinning the prize wheel! News 9 had a blast last year as we learned archery techniques, visited with the king and queen and tested our hand at juggling!
