Woman Dies At Hospital After Being Shot In NE OKC

A woman has died at the hospital after being shot somewhere in northeast Oklahoma City, Sunday night.

Police are on the lookout for a gunman after finding the woman suffering from a gunshot wound near N.E. 25^th and Martin Luther King Ave.

The victim was transported to the OU Medical Center, where she later died.

Police say the woman and her friends were involved in a fight in the 2000 block of N.E. 28th Street. After the altercation, the victim was walking south on Martin Luther King when she was shot.

So far, police have not released a description of the suspect. The victim's identity has not been released pending notification of family members.
