It will be a busy night in midtown, as the popular H&8th festival makes its return for the 2014 season this Friday night.
H&8th is a night market that happens the last Friday of every month from March until September. The event takes place from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Hudson Avenue downtown, between N.W. 7th and N.W. 8th Streets.
But the fun doesn't end at 11 p.m. Event organizers say an after party will be hosted at Ludivine at 805 N. Hudson Ave. until 2 a.m.
The family-and-pet-friendly festival is free and open to the public. It features Oklahoma's top gourmet food trucks, including Roxy's Ice Cream Social, Smokin Okies, Kaiteki Ramen, and more.
Event-goers can also enjoy some live music. Several local artists, including John Calvin and the Paul Benjamin Band will perform at the festival.
Players from the OKC Energy FC pro soccer team will meet and greet with fans from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Elemental Coffee, 815 N. Hudson Ave. From 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., the players will lead a game of soccer golf on the Federal building lawn.
