Police Investigate Shooting That Injured Woman At OKC Motel

Police are investigating a shooting that injured a woman at an Oklahoma City motel late Thursday night.

According to police, officers responded to the shooting at Motel 6, located in the 800 block of S. Meridian.

Witnesses told News 9 that a man and a woman ran out of a room, screaming for help. The man ran from the area. The woman suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder. She was transported to the hospital and is expected to recover.

No arrests have been made at this time. Police have not released any suspect information.
