OKLAHOMA CITY -

Flames spread through the area of Rockwell and the Northwest Expressway in Oklahoma City, early Wednesday morning. Multiple fires sparked one right after the other.

According to fire officials, at about 1:45 a.m., crews responded to multiple fires near NW Expressway and Rockwell Avenue.

Firefighters say it appears someone set at least four grass fires, a trash fire, and a dumpster fire near several shopping centers and apartments.

Investigators will likely return to the area later on Wednesday to look at security cameras at nearby businesses.
