Richard Bachman stopped 33 shots for the Oklahoma City Barons, who stopped a four-game skid by topping the San Antonio Rampage 2-1 Tuesday night at the Cox Convention Center.

Bachman faced 34 total shots, including two San Antonio breakaway opportunities, in the win that extended his season record to 21-17-4-1.

The Barons got on the scoreboard first, following an interference penalty to the Rampage's Greg Zanon with 46 seconds left in the first period. On the power play, Brad Hunt unleashed a shot towards the San Antonio net that Matthew Ford tipped past Rampage netminder Michael Houser with 12 seconds remaining in the frame.

Oklahoma extended its lead in the second period, once again on the power play after Houser was assessed a delay of game penalty when he lost his footing and knocked the Rampage net off its moorings at the 12:45 mark. At 14:13, Taylor Fedun sent a snap shot from the point that Will Acton deflected into the Rampage net, giving the Barons a 2-0 lead.

San Antonio cut the Barons' lead to 2-1 in the third period after a hooking penalty on Curtis Hamilton at 3:52. On the power play, San Antonio's John McFarland sent a pass from the left circle through the slot to Anthony Luciani, who chipped the puck past Bachman from the right edge of the Barons crease.

Bachman went on to save the remaining 13 shots of the third period to secure the win for Oklahoma City.

With the win, the Barons improved to 30-27-2-7 and pulled within a point of the 8th and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

The Barons are back in action Saturday night at 6 p.m. CT, when they head to Charlotte, N.C. to take on the Checkers.
