OSBI Investigates After Body Found In Bryan County

BRYAN COUNTY, Oklahoma -

Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are investigating after a body was found Monday afternoon in Bryan County.

According to authorities, at about 4 p.m., Bryan County Sheriff's deputies found the body of an unidentified male near Canella Creek, about three miles east of Durant near old Highway 70.

The Sheriff's office contacted the OSBI for assistance in the investigation. Authorities are calling the person's death suspicious. His body has been transported to the medical examiner's office in Oklahoma City for an autopsy.

OSBI is currently working with the medical examiner's office to identify the man. If anyone has information, contact the OSBI at 1-800-522-8017.
