Dressed in shorts, jerseys and helmets, the Oklahoma State football team held its fourth practice of spring ball Monday at the Sherman E. Smith Training Facility. After the approximately two hour-long session, head coach Mike Gundy shared his thoughts:

On how the practice went after a week off:

"Really, I thought we had a good practice. There's always concern with spring break, kind of the lull after getting back, for coaches and players. I thought our coaches did a great job of getting them motivated. We didn't have pads on. Today was our third practice without pads. There was a lot of learning. Guys paid attention and I thought we got better as a team today."

On if Tyreek Hill could contribute as a returner:

"I hope so. He's fast. We all know that. He gets from one place to the other extremely fast and looks different than the other players. His attitude's been great. As long as his attitude continues to stay positive, we'll get him coached up and hopefully he can help us in special teams in game one."

On if the receivers have developed:

"I think so. (Jhajuan) Seales is coming along and (Marcell) Ateman, when he decides to play hard, he's a big, physical body; and mentally he has to come around and understand the important of practicing hard every day. The other guys are doing well. (Austin) Hays is doing well. (Blake) Webb has done well. Some of those young receivers are starting to make a few plays, so it's exciting that we have talent on our team that can make plays in the future."

On the OSU wrestling team's performance at NCAAs:

"I kept up with it on Twitter – with all the basketball and baseball and the wrestling. My two little boys were playing baseball tournaments Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so I didn't get to go, but I kept up with it. Gary Calcagno, who's a strength coach who works with wrestling, he was texting me and keeping me posted. They had a great outing. They did a great job and they were close. Obviously Penn State's a really good wrestling program, but I was proud. I thought our guys competed. Obviously (wrestling coach) John (Smith) knows more about that, but I think that we'd be proud. I heard we had a great showing in Oklahoma City. I heard there were over 16,000 people there for the finals, which is super. The sport's changed. They've taken more of the stalling out and I think people are seeing that and they're excited about it. We have a great tradition here in wrestling. We should all be proud and go to, not only those duals, but also to those tournaments."
