Oklahoma City police have identified a man who was shot and killed by four officers Sunday morning.
At about around 6:30 a.m., EMSA paramedics arrived at a home, located in the 4300 block of NW 21st Terrace, after a woman reported her husband was suicidal. When they saw the man had a gun, paramedics called for police backup.

When four officers arrived at the home, the man, later identified as 73-year-old Gail Dean Fairless, refused to come out. Police say the officers then made their way down a hallway to a bedroom, and saw Fairless reach for a gun.
Fairless disregarded the officers' commands to move away from the gun. Instead, police say he grabbed the gun and pointed it at the officers.
All four officers then fired shots at Fairless, killing him.
The officers have been identified as Sgt. David Hollis II (12 years of service,) Sgt. Jeff Coffey (five years of service,) Sgt. Jonathan Davis (nine years of service,) and Sgt. Anthony Pundsack (nine years of service. ) They were placed on routine administrative leave.
