Alabama news media say family and friends have identified the five people who were aboard a private plane which crashed into a lake in southwestern Colorado Saturday.
The FAA says the single-engine Socata TBM700 had stopped in Bartlesville on its way from Gadsden, Alabama to Montrose, Colorado on Saturday.
Al.com identified the pilot as Jimmy Hill of Gadsden, passengers Katrina Barksdale, her two sons Kobe and Xander, and a cousin, Seth McDuffie. There is still no official word on the victim's names.
Search crews worked Saturday and Sunday to locate the wreckage and the victims in the Ridgway Reservoir.
Work at the wreckage site resumed Monday morning with officials saying divers located the wreckage 60 to 70 feet below the surface. No word on when the plane or the victim's bodies would be recovered.
