TULSA, Oklahoma -

Police arrested a homeless man after a Tulsa daycare center reported a man staring in the windows and rubbing his genital area.

The incident occurred at A Child's Place at 2001 North Lewis at about 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Officers said Blake Fields, 28, told people at the center, "I'm getting some kids."

According a police report, when officers approached Fields he ran.

Police say when they caught up to him Fields punched an officer in the face.

Fields was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of resisting arrest, public intoxication, lewd proposal to a minor, assault and battery on a police officer and possession of an illegal weapon.

Jail records show Fields was being held in lieu of a $62,100 bond with a court appearance set for March 26, 2014.
