NORMAN, Oklahoma -

Firefighters have put out an apartment fire in the 1600 block of Alameda Street in Norman.

Crews responded to the fire just after 6 a.m. Thursday. Residents in the affected building were asked to evacuate as firefighters battled the fire.

Investigators remain on the scene to help look into what started the blaze.  No injuries have been reported.
