Police need help identifying a man wanted for questioning in connection with a stolen backpack at an Oklahoma City gas station.

According to police, on February 18, the victim in the case had been fueling his motorcycle at a gas station, located at 1 N.E. 23rd Street. He put his backpack down at the gas pump, and a short time later, a suspect came along and stole it.

The victim told police that the backpack contained $500 in cash, his phone and credit cards.

On Wednesday, March 19, police released a surveillance photo of a man who was the driver of the suspect vehicle. His passenger is the one who actually stole the backpack.

Investigators say they are confident if they can identify and locate the man in the photo, they will find the suspect.

If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at (405)-235-7300. Callers can remain anonymous, and may be eligible for a cash reward.
