Police Investigate Shooting At OKC Motel

Police are investigating after a man was shot in his room in an Oklahoma City motel Wednesday morning.

According to police, the man walked into the office of the Green Carpet Inn, located at 720 S. MacArthur, saying that he had been shot in the back.

The victim has been transported to an area hospital and is cooperating with police. Officers believe the man knows the suspect.

According to Lt. Rod Strecker with Oklahoma City police, the victim had gotten into an altercation with another man, who then grabbed a gun and fired one shot, striking the victim in the back. Police say they are still looking for the suspect at this time.

Another man was arrested at the scene for having an active warrant.
