A 3.3 magnitude earthquake near Choctaw shook some Oklahomans awake early Monday morning.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake was recorded at 3:13 a.m. Its epicenter was located one mile northwest of Choctaw, seven miles northeast of Midwest City, and 13 miles east, northeast of Oklahoma City.
It was about six miles deep.
Many News 9 viewers in Midwest City, Del City, and Choctaw reported feeling this earthquake. As of 7 a.m., no damage or injuries have been reported.
