Tanker Truck Slams Into Semi Truck Trailer On I-35 In OKC

Emergency crews are on the scene of an accident involving two semi-trucks on I-35 near Hefner Road.

Crews responded to the collision at around 4 a.m. Friday. Two of the northbound lanes between Hefner and Britton Roads are shut down at this time.

Investigators on the scene say a tanker truck slammed into the back of a trailer that came loose from another truck that was hauling the trailer. 

At least one minor injury has been reported.

No word yet on when all the northbound lanes will be re-opened to traffic.
