NORMAN, Oklahoma -

Police have captured the suspect who took off on foot after a traffic stop in Norman, Wednesday night.

Authorities say they pulled over a vehicle near 26th Ave. NW and W. Tecumseh Rd., at 7:30 p.m., when two suspects jumped out and ran.

One suspect was captured quickly, but another managed to evade officers through the parking lot of the Norman Regional HealthPlex. That suspect was eventually captured inside the HealthPlex.

OHP's Patrol One was called in to help search for the suspect. K9 units were also called in to assist. So far no description or identities have been released.

Norman Police are not sure what led the suspects to run, because the initial stop was only for a minor traffic violation.
