Tulsa Man Sentenced In Attempted Rape At Jogging Trail

The Tulsa man who pleaded guilty to trying to rape a woman along a Sand Springs jogging trail learns how much time he'll spend in prison.

Stephen Bowes was sentenced to 48 years in prison on charges of kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon, assault and battery, and attempted sodomy.

Bowes attacked the woman as she passed under a bridge in River City Park. The victim told police Bowes pulled her into a wooded area where she fought back and got away.
