Sooners To Face Texas In Big 12 Tourney Opener

Oklahoma will begin the Big 12 Championship in the quarterfinals, facing Texas Saturday at 8:30 p.m.

No. 6 seed Oklahoma (18-13, 9-9 Big 12) and Texas (20-10, 11-7) meet in the last of four quarterfinals held Saturday at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City. The winner advances to Sunday's 4:30 p.m. semifinal.

Oklahoma and Texas split their regular season meetings with each team winning on its home court.
