Police Chase Leads To Crash, Injuries In Downtown OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Multiple people were injured, including children, in a two-car accident in downtown Oklahoma City, Friday evening.

Emergency responders were called to the scene, located near NW 1st Terrace and N. Tuttle St.

According to police, officers were trying to make a felony traffic stop for a stolen vehicle when the suspect took off and led police on a shot chase. That chase ended when the suspect crashed into a mini van that was carrying several small children.

In all, four people were transported to local hospitals, two of whom were children. They were all listed in good condition.

So far, no names have been released.
