OKLAHOMA CITY -

Authorities have arrested a man Monday afternoon in downtown Oklahoma City, who is accused in a string of car break-ins at an Oklahoma City daycare.

Jesse Hisaw, 50, was arrested by U.S. Marshals at 2228 N.W. 1st Terrace in Oklahoma City. He is accused of breaking into several cars at the Childcare Network Daycare on N.W. 150th. Police say he's taken purses, cash and credit cards.

According to police, Hisaw also robbed, kidnapped and beat up a former coworker. Hisaw reportedly broke into a fence business in the 400 block of S.E. 52nd St. and hospitalized his former coworker because he beat him so badly.

On Wednesday, Feb. 19, police say Hisaw led a warrant team on a pursuit. Deputies attempted to serve a warrant on Hisaw when he took off in a pick-up truck. They chased Hisaw along westbound I-40 until he exited the roadway near Post Road.

Hisaw then drove through a field just north of I-40. Deputies found an abandoned vehicle in a wooden area just east of Post Road.
