Suspect Missing After Standoff In Blackwell Ends

BLACKWELL, Oklahoma -

A standoff in Blackwell has ended, but the suspect is missing.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers and Blackwell police officers were involved in the standoff that began Monday morning in Blackwell in the 300 block of E. Chrysler in Blackwell. Authorities were trying to serve a warrant Monday morning on a man inside the home. Instead a standoff ensued.

The suspect's wife and brother were inside the home when the standoff began but were later allowed to leave.

Blackwell officers have turned the investigation over to Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers.
