An early morning earthquake rattled residents near Spencer, Oklahoma.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.0 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 5:20 a.m. Monday. Its epicenter was located two miles northeast of Spencer, four miles northwest of Choctaw, six miles north, northeast of Midwest City, and 11 miles east, northeast of Oklahoma City,

It was about three miles deep.

No injuries or damage have been reported as of 7:40 a.m. Monday.
