The U.S. Postal Service will host a job fair in central Oklahoma City to fill open positions.

The Oklahoma Division of the U.S. Postal Service has position openings for City Carrier Assistants and Rural Carrier Assistants.

City Carrier Assistants - $15.30/Hour

  • Limited benefits include raises, paid vacation days and access to health insurance as required by law or after the first 360-day term whichever comes first.
  • Applicants must have a valid driver's license, a safe driving record and at least two years of documented driving experience.

Rural Carrier Associates - $16.26/Hour

  • Access to health insurance as required by law or after the first 360-day term whichever comes first.
  • Applicants must have a valid driver's license, a safe driving record and at least two years of documented driving experience.

Requirements

  • Qualified applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening to meet the U.S. Postal Service's requirement to be drug free.
  • Applicants must also be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident alien status.

The job fair will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, February 27 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, February 28 at the Oklahoma City Processing and Distribution Center, 4025 W. Reno Ave.
