EDMOND, Oklahoma -

An Edmond home was damaged Saturday morning after a man drove his car through the garage. The home was located in the 15000 block of Traditions Blvd. in Edmond.

According to Sgt. John Stacy with the Oklahoma City Police Department, the driver was traveling northbound on Traditions Blvd. when he lost control of the vehicle and struck the home's garage.

Homeowner, Charles Foster, said he was walking outside to pick up his newspaper when he heard a loud noise.

"Sounded like a bomb went off," Foster said.

Foster said he couldn't walk out of his front door, because there was too much debris blocking his way.

According to police, the Oklahoma City Fire Department assisted with structural questions and supporting the home for safety.

There were no injuries, but the house and the car both sustained significant damage.

The driver's identity is still unknown.
