An Oklahoma City woman was arrested after police say she threw knives at her boyfriend, and tried to run over him with a car.

According to police, officers responded to the incident early Wednesday morning near S.W. 63rd and Blackwelder in Oklahoma City.

The victim told police that the suspect, 33-year-old Sherri Foley, "lost it" for an unknown reason and began yelling at him while they were at a friend's house. When he decided to leave, Foley followed him out with a handful of knives and began throwing the knives at him.

The victim said he started running away. That's when Foley jumped into a car and began chasing him.

Foley reportedly drove through two yards, trying to run over the victim with the car. Officers say they found knives in the area, and tire tracks in the yards.

The victim was not injured.

Foley was taken into custody on two counts of domestic assault with a deadly weapon.
