The Tulsa Police Department says officers are looking for two men who fired a gun through a motel room door hitting a man inside early Friday.

The shooting occurred at the Relax Inn in the 6700 block of East Admiral just after midnight.

Officers said it began with a fight involving three men in the motel's parking lot. The victim ran into a motel room and one of the other two men fired four rounds through the room's door, striking the victim once.

EMSA took the victim to the hospital. Police said they don't believe his wound was life-threatening.

A woman in the room at the time was not injured.

After the shooting, Tulsa Police said the two men drove away in what was believed to be a black Honda Civic. The only description of the suspects given by police was one man was wearing a brown Carhartt jacket.
