Four more state residents have died from influenza in the past week, according to Oklahoma State Department of Health. The agency says the death toll now stands at 48.
The OSDH says four deaths include one death in Beckham and Stephens counties and two in Oklahoma County.

There have been 213 flu-related hospitalizations in Oklahoma County since September 29, 2013. There have been three influenza deaths within that same time period, according to the Oklahoma City-County Health Department.
Tulsa County's flu deaths stands at eight, the highest of any county in Oklahoma.
Statewide, hospitalizations due to influenza jumped from 1,076 to 1,141 this week.
The Department of Health began keeping statistics for the 2013-2014 flu season beginning in October 2013.
