Two Oklahoma communities are among the least expensive places to live in the U.S.

The Council for Community and Economic Research looked at the cost of living in 308 urban areas in the U.S. Norman and Pryor made the cut, according to CBS news.

The CCER crunched the numbers on everything from the average price of a can of coffee, to average rent on a two bedroom apartment, to the cost of a T-bone steak -- and put out a list of the 10 least expensive places to live.

Norman placed 3rd and Pryor 6th on the list.

The Council for Community and Economic Research says Harlingen, Texas was the least expensive community, followed by Pueblo, Colorado; Norman; Memphis, Tennessee; Idaho Falls, Idaho; Pryor; Sherman-Denison, Texas; Covington, Kentucky; Youngstown-Warren, Ohio; and Jonesboro, Arkansas.
